About the position

Professional Dental is seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager for our Orem office. This full-time position is ideal for a bilingual individual who is proficient in both Spanish and English and has a strong background in dental office management. The Dental Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This includes supervising staff, managing patient flow, handling financial and administrative tasks, and maintaining a high standard of patient care. In this role, you will coordinate the activities of the dental office staff, which includes receptionists, dental assistants, and hygienists. You will be tasked with managing patient appointments and ensuring that patients are seen in a timely manner. Additionally, you will handle various financial and administrative responsibilities, such as managing insurance claims, billing, and preparing financial reports. Maintaining patient records and purchasing necessary supplies and equipment will also be part of your duties. The Dental Office Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the office, as well as implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with dental regulations and standards. Staying informed about the latest developments in dentistry and office management best practices is essential for success in this position. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Open Dental knowledge
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • +2 years experience working in a dental office, with knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and supervise staff effectively
  • Proficiency with computer programs (Office and Open Dental)
  • Attention to detail
  • Well-organized and reliable
