About the position
The Dental Office Manager at Aspen Dental, referred to as Operations Manager, plays a crucial role in overseeing all office operations to support the dental team and enhance patient experiences. This position emphasizes leadership, patient service, and business management, ensuring the office runs efficiently while fostering a positive environment for both staff and patients.
Responsibilities
- Lead the office in all operations to support the doctors and enhance patient experiences.
- Provide superior patient service with compassion and care according to patient needs and company policies.
- Hire, develop, manage, and retain office staff.
- Consult with patients on treatment options, verify insurance payments, and ensure high-quality care.
- Review monthly business results, manage profit and loss, and create strategies to increase profitability.
- Prepare and lead daily huddles with the team to optimize patient experience and business performance.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of managing a team of direct reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and leverage data effectively.
