About the position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, particularly within a dental or clinical setting. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a keen understanding of budgeting and fiscal management, and the ability to maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations. The Dental Office Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office while providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations, including scheduling appointments, overseeing patient flow, and ensuring a welcoming environment for patients.
  • Supervise administrative staff and coordinate training for new employees.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality.
  • Develop and manage budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Oversee billing processes and ensure accurate insurance claims submissions.
  • Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Utilize eClinicalWorks software for patient management and record keeping.
  • Address patient inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Dental Office Manager or in a similar role within healthcare management.
  • Familiarity with dental office procedures, including budgeting and fiscal management.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar practice management software is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A background in veterinary or hospital settings is considered an asset but not required.
