About the position

Southridge Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a bright, energetic, and hardworking receptionist to join our front office team. This part-time position is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our young patients and their families. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly and positive demeanor, as they will be the first point of contact for our patients. As a busy pediatric dental office, we require someone who can greet and interact with our patients in a fun and caring manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued during their visit. The receptionist will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are crucial to the smooth operation of our office. These responsibilities include greeting patients as they arrive, answering phone calls promptly and professionally, scheduling and confirming appointments, verifying insurance benefits, and processing payments. A working knowledge of Dentrix software and prior dental office experience is preferred, as it will aid in the efficiency of daily operations. The candidate must be organized, dependable, and able to work well with other team members to provide the best possible service to our patients. In addition to the technical skills required, a cheerful disposition is essential for this role. The receptionist will need to maintain a positive attitude, even during busy times, and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Appropriate knowledge of filing and general office procedures will also be beneficial in this position. We are looking for someone who is not only capable but also enthusiastic about contributing to a team that prioritizes patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bilingual communication skills.
