Responsibilities

• Greet patients, parents, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle patient inquiries
• Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing and payment processing
• Maintain and organize accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Communicate with all members of the dental team
• Facilitate patient check-in and check-out procedures to create a positive and efficient experience
• Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in customer service
• Proficiency in office procedures and basic administrative tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including interacting with children
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient service and ensuring a positive patient and parent experience
• Previous medical/dental background is a plus, but not required
