About the position

The Dental Sales / District Sales Manager at Planmeca USA Inc. is responsible for driving sales of dental imaging products and equipment within a designated territory. This remote position requires effective interaction with dental health professionals to promote the company's product line, achieve sales growth, and secure new business accounts. The role involves a combination of sales activities, customer relationship management, and participation in industry events to enhance product awareness and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Generate diagnostic imaging, core equipment, and CAD/CAM sales in assigned accounts/territory.
  • Prospect for new customers and business while maintaining the existing customer portfolio.
  • Attend tradeshows and participate in education and training conferences.
  • Coordinate and assist in leading sales meetings and peer-to-peer events.
  • Assist Dealer Representatives in preparing sales quotes and demonstrating equipment.
  • Execute sales negotiations and deal closures with customers.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of Planmeca and competitive products.
  • Build relationships and maximize business opportunities for Planmeca products.
  • Act as the primary customer point of contact in the assigned territory.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to management and product teams.
  • Develop and maintain high customer satisfaction through quality interactions.
  • Coordinate service and support teams to deliver customer solutions.
  • Forecast orders and sales within applicable sales funnel tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 3 years of selling experience in a Business to Business sales role.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare or dental industry preferred.
  • Valid motor vehicle license required.
  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
  • Strong capacity and drive to develop career.
