About the position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care to patients while maintaining high ethical standards. The Dentist will diagnose and treat oral diseases and injuries, as well as educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental exams and diagnose oral health issues
- Develop treatment plans and discuss options with patients
- Administer anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow-up with necessary documentation
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in dental technology and procedures
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Valid state dental license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and excellent diagnostic skills
- Dedication to continuing education and professional development
