Responsibilities

• Demonstrate clinical knowledge for practicing comprehensive dentistry, showcasing the ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of oral health issues.
• Become credentialed with various dental insurance plans to ensure comprehensive coverage for patients.
• Perform essential duties satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Manage prolonged periods of sitting and standing, adapting to the dynamic nature of dental practice.
• Lift and carry up to 45 pounds when necessary, ensuring physical stamina aligns with job demands.
• Attend periodic virtual training sessions or in-person when required throughout the year.
• Perform exams and evaluate X-rays to determine patients' health.
• Develop treatment plans for dental health issues, including filling cavities, performing root canals, applying crowns, and installing bridges and implants.
• Administer or prescribe medications to decrease pain and improve patient health.
• Interact with patients and instruct them on proper oral care, maintaining accurate patient records.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
• Must have 3 years of experience.
• License issued by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.
