About the position
This position is for a radiological personnel role within the Federal Government, specifically targeting candidates who meet the educational and certification requirements for GS-3 and GS-4 levels. Responsibilities
- Administer radiological procedures in compliance with federal regulations.
- Provide dental assistance in general or specialized dentistry.
- Set up proper instruments for dental procedures.
- Record treatments rendered and provide receptionist services.
- Expose and process digital oral x-rays.
Requirements
- Radiological Certification Requirements for GS-3 and GS-4.
- At least 3 months of general experience for GS-02 level.
- At least 6 months of general experience for GS-03 level.
- Completion of a 1-year dental assistant program or a 1-year dental hygiene program for GS-03 level.
- At least 6 months of specialized experience for GS-04 level.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in customer service, record-keeping, and clinic maintenance duties.
- Completion of a 2-year dental assistant or dental hygiene program for GS-04 level.
