Responsibilities

• Independently examine, diagnose, and treat commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems.
• Diagnose malocclusions and pathological conditions, ensuring proper referral of patients for evaluation or specialty care.
• Provide appropriate dental disease prevention measures for each patient treated.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Maintain and update medical records in a timely manner.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must have a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited institution.
• Must have passed the National Board of Dental Surgery (NBDE) and possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry.
• Experience in evaluating, preventing, diagnosing, and treating diseases of the oral cavity and maxillofacial area is required.
• Ability to distinguish shades of color is necessary.
