About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our team in Albion, NY. The role involves providing high-quality dental care to patients, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and supervising dental assistants and hygienists. The Dentist will also participate in continuing education and adhere to all infection control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental, diagnostic, and treatment services to patients in accordance with the Dental Practice Act of New York State.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Record dental evaluations and treatments in patient EHR.
• Refer patients for appropriate specialty care as necessary.
• Supervise dental assistants and dental hygienists in daily operations.
• Participate in annual continuing dental education and departmental peer review processes.
• Adhere to all organizational personnel policies and exposure/infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active NY dental license.
• BLS and DEA certifications.
