About the position

We are seeking a Dentist to join our practice, providing excellent patient care and contributing to the overall success of our dental team. This position offers flexibility as it can be full-time or part-time, with a competitive salary starting from $125,000 per year, negotiable during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental examinations and create treatment plans for patients
• Administer anesthetics and sedatives during procedures
• Conduct dental extractions, fillings, and root canals
• Educate patients on oral health care and preventive measures
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software
• Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
• Monitor vital signs during procedures
• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
• Valid state dental license in good standing
• Proficiency in general dentistry procedures including CAD, dental extractions, and restorative dentistry
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and oral health principles
• Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients on oral health care
• Experience with Dentrix or similar practice management software is a plus
