About the position

We are seeking part-time dentists to join our growing multi-location dental practice. This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing for a customizable work/life balance without the need for weekend or evening hours. Dentists will focus solely on practicing dentistry while we manage the operational aspects of the practice, including providing support staff, supplies, labs, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general dentistry services including examinations, treatment planning, x-rays, oral prophylaxis, scaling, fabrication and repair of dentures, restorations, oral hygiene instruction, and extractions within the limits of general practice.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic techniques in the dental office.
• Maintain proper EMR documentation of treatments for all patients.
• Supervise the attending dental team.
• Develop treatment plans and discuss them with patients to ensure understanding and consent.

Requirements

• DMD/DDS dental degree from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted NYS license in good standing.
• Strong chairside manner and great communication skills.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with the dental clinic team.
• Ability to work for a minimum of 1-4 weekdays per month.
