About the position

The Department Chair for the Allied Health Department at San Antonio College will oversee various programs including Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Kinesiology, and Mortuary Science. • Ensure compliance with college and district procedures, policies, and accreditation guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum educational completion as required for faculty status.
• Experience in college teaching, instructional administration, and program planning and development with a record of increasingly broad responsibilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced degree in a relevant field of study.
• Five years of experience leading academic departments in a higher education institution.
• Seven or more years of experience as a faculty member at a higher education institution.
