About the position
The Department Restaurant Manager is a key leadership role within an independent McDonald's franchise, responsible for overseeing various departments including Kitchen, People, and Service. This position focuses on ensuring high-quality food delivery, effective training, and exceptional customer service while managing team performance and operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management systems.
- Set goals and delegate tasks to team members.
- Follow up and report results to the team and other managers.
- Ensure high quality food is delivered quickly and safely.
- Control food costs and train kitchen staff in production procedures.
- Hire and train qualified crew members to meet sales and profit goals.
- Engage employees through motivation and recognition.
- Ensure a memorable customer experience and effective service procedures.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Experience in restaurant management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to train and motivate staff effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety and inventory management.
