About the position

Department Supervisors are responsible for leading, training, coaching, and developing associates within various store departments to ensure excellent customer service and product accessibility. They play a crucial role in operational and merchandising decisions, leveraging their strong product and operational knowledge to support the Store Management and Operations Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and develop associates in each department.
• Ensure customers receive excellent service and can easily find merchandise.
• Provide input into operational and merchandising decisions for the Store Management Team.
• Utilize strong product and operational knowledge to support various store departments.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• In-depth knowledge of store operations and merchandising.
• Ability to work collaboratively with management and associates.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in retail management or supervisory roles.
• Familiarity with specific store departments such as Building Materials, Decor, Electrical, etc.
