About the position
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Analyst at MSHDA is responsible for managing a portfolio of state and federally funded CDBG grants. This includes overseeing the entire grant lifecycle from application approval to project completion and grant closeout. The role aims to ensure equitable housing outcomes for underserved populations and involves collaboration with various stakeholders to support housing project grant administration.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of state and federally funded CDBG grants.
- Oversee the grant lifecycle from application approval to project closeout.
- Collaborate with the CDBG housing portfolio manager and Division Director on MI Neighborhood assignments.
- Ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting standards.
- Provide administrative support for housing projects.
Requirements
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
- Departmental Analyst 9: No specific type or amount of experience required.
- Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience required.
- Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including one year at the intermediate (10) level in state service.
Nice-to-haves
