About the position

The Departmental Specialist 13 serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Director of the Customer Information Division (CID) within the Department of State. This role is crucial for assisting in the operation of the division, which encompasses various units including the Customer Contact Unit, Special Assistance Unit, and Field Support Technology Unit. Key responsibilities include budget preparation and monitoring, responding to FOIA requests, and managing CID applications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director in the operation of the Customer Information Division.
  • Prepare and monitor the CID budget.
  • Respond to CID FOIA requests.
  • Act as the CID Selections Liaison.
  • Manage programs and contracts for CID applications.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
  • Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
