About the position

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is seeking a dependable Overnight Cleaner to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. This part-time position requires a detail-oriented individual who is responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. The Overnight Cleaner will work Monday to Friday from 10 PM to 1:00 AM, and must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks as assigned by the supervisor. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to follow protocols and maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Additionally, candidates must pass a company background check, which includes fingerprinting. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are clean and welcoming for all employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned areas according to company standards.
• Follow cleaning protocols and procedures as directed by the supervisor.
• Demonstrate flexibility in completing various cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 2 years of custodial experience (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to changing tasks.

• Experience in a similar role within a commercial cleaning environment.
