About the position

The Deposit Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in the bank by accurately recording daily financial transactions and providing operational support and customer service. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of deposit operations and addressing customer inquiries effectively.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with bank staff and customers to manage and respond to questions and issues
• Oversees returns, stops, maintenance, and sets up new ACH transactions
• Balances accounts for multiple bank applications
• Processes account maintenance, wires, and payments
• Processes ICS/CDARs transactions and balances accounts
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 year experience in banking is required
• Knowledge in banking is helpful, as is bank bookkeeping and/or accounting techniques and procedures
• Proficiency with standard office equipment and Microsoft Office products
• Attention to detail, time management, ability to prioritize, organize, and problem solving are required
