About the position

The Deposit Operations Specialist at Bank of Luxemburg plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate electronic transfer records and supporting various banking operations. This full-time position involves processing electronic funds transfers, managing the debit card program, and assisting the accounting department, all while ensuring a positive impact on customers' lives through excellent service and support.

Responsibilities

• Performs EFT Processing by reviewing and processing ACH originations for customer accounts, including returns and exceptions.
• Administers the Debit Card Program by researching and resolving customer concerns and monitoring fraud detection programs.
• Processes Wire Transfers, including incoming and outgoing domestic and international wires.
• Charges Off Overdrawn DDA Accounts and manages NSF accounts, including submissions to Chex Systems and Collection Agency.
• Provides Department Support by managing NSF totals, resolving unposted items, and processing tax levies and garnishments.
• Assists the Accounting Department with various accounting duties, including balancing general ledger accounts and ATM activity.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year of banking experience required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
