About the position

The Deposit & Payment Operations Specialist II - Collections is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of domestic collections operations. This role requires adherence to policies and procedures while ensuring timely and quality output. The specialist will assist in various tasks, resolve issues, and communicate effectively with leadership and internal partners, while also interacting with clients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions as assigned that may include tasks requiring special approvals and processes affecting large dollar clients.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure integrity and accuracy of work.
• Research issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation for required logs, dual control tasks, inventory, and forms.
• Ensure clear and effective communication with leadership regarding inventory, deadlines, reporting, and potential production or quality issues.
• Cross-train on other functions as assigned to provide support when needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent education and related training.
• Ability to work in a production-governed area and under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
• Effective problem identification and resolution skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a team environment across shifts and departments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication.
• One to two years of experience with knowledge in all department functions.
