About the position

The Deposition Operator A position at Power Device Corporation (PDC) involves performing a variety of deposition operations essential for the production of high-reliability connectivity, power, and control solutions. This role is critical to meeting the mission needs of customers in the aerospace, defense, and space industries, requiring a skilled individual to operate complex equipment and follow detailed procedures with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of deposition operations of a repetitive and non-repetitive nature with little or no supervision.
• Follow a standard sequence of deposition operations of high complexity including printing, inspection, firing and other operations of comparable difficulty.
• Repair thick film paste on substrates when necessary.
• Make complex set ups and adjustments to specifications on manual and automatic equipment.
• Handle substrates and thick film paste as per the required SOP.
• Utilize microscope and other deposition equipment.
• Read and interpret electronic and hard copy blue prints and operational sheets to determine proper assembly procedure.
• Use small hand tools such as tweezers and probes.
• Assist in meeting department production goals.

Requirements

• Good manual dexterity, eyesight and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints and schematics.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of deposition or related experience.
