Deputy Assistant Director for Enforcement

About the position

The Deputy Assistant Director for Enforcement at the U.S. Treasury Department plays a crucial role in managing and supervising the Enforcement division. Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Director of Enforcement in overall management and supervision of the Enforcement division.
• Direct staff responsible for conducting enforcement investigations.
• Serve as an expert technical authority on sanctions violations and enforcement matters.
• Provide inputs and clearance on agency documents.
• Engage with public, private sector representatives, and government officials.
• Develop divisional and agency-wide policies, procedures, and strategies.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
• One year of specialized experience at a level equivalent to GS-14 in the Federal service.
• Experience in coordinating and conducting criminal and/or civil investigations of international commercial and trade transactions.
• Expertise in providing technical advice and guidance to agency management and senior agents.
• Supervisory experience overseeing staff responsible for investigating economic sanctions programs.
