About the position

As the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at ENGIE North America in Houston, Texas, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive cybersecurity program that encompasses both information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT). This role involves developing the North America cyber vision, strategy, and architecture, while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory mandates. You will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer and play a crucial role in leading the cybersecurity strategy and risk posture for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a company-wide IT/OT sustainable cybersecurity program.
• Develop and maintain the North America cyber vision, strategy, and architecture.
• Monitor and enforce policies and procedures for secure operation of IT and OT systems.
• Assist the Chief Information Security Officer in leading ENGIE's overall cybersecurity strategy.
• Manage and implement internal guidelines and controls for compliance with Group policy and regulatory mandates.
• Collaborate with multiple functions including Legal, Operations, Finance, and HR to ensure strategic alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or 12 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT/OT system design, and networking.
• Demonstrated project management, organization, and facilitation skills.
• Proven track record of leading technology teams with strategic vision and analytical skills.
• Experience in process improvement and presenting complex ideas clearly.
