About the position

The Deputy Chief of Staff-Ambulatory Care at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the ambulatory care clinical operations. Responsibilities

• Oversee ambulatory care clinical operations at the RHJ VA Health Care System.
• Manage service lines including Primary Care, Mental Health, Social Work, Physical Integrated Medicine, Neurology, and Geriatrics & Extended Care.
• Collaborate with the Chief of Staff office and service line leaders to maximize operational efficiencies.
• Ensure effective delivery of ambulatory care services to veterans.
• Participate in strategic planning and implementation of clinical programs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in healthcare management, particularly in ambulatory care settings.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and healthcare regulations.
