As the Deputy Chief of Staff at Hut 8, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and overseeing various cross-functional projects that are essential to the company's operations. This position requires a highly motivated individual who is prepared to engage in a variety of tasks that span across Operations, Finance, Product, and more. You will be responsible for managing special initiatives, facilitating cross-departmental communication, and aligning top-level business unit priorities and goals. Your work will directly impact the strategic planning and processes of the organization, making this a demanding yet rewarding role. In this capacity, you will own key operational processes, which include organizing weekly leadership meetings, All Hands sessions, and OKR (Objectives and Key Results) reviews. This involves preparing agendas, facilitating discussions, documenting notes and action items, and ensuring timely follow-ups. You will also create briefing materials in collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure the CEO is well-prepared for meetings and that actions from those meetings are followed up on promptly. Your role will extend to tracking the company's and departmental OKRs on a day-to-day basis, acting as a cross-functional liaison for the CEO, and serving as a thought partner to business unit leadership. You will proactively identify risks and opportunities that can shape products and improve internal operations. Additionally, you will serve as a program manager on special projects for the CEO, partner with the Chief of Staff to define business priorities, and drive the execution of key initiatives while creating alignment within teams. The Deputy Chief of Staff will also help develop overall business unit strategy, business development priorities, and internal operating models. You will be responsible for driving the planning processes for the company on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, performing analyses, and providing recommendations to facilitate effective decision-making within business units. This role is not just about supporting the CEO; it is about taking ownership of significant projects and initiatives that will shape the future of Hut 8.
