About the position

The Deputy Controller will play a vital role in supporting the Controller in managing the financial operations of the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and excellent analytical skills to ensure compliance with GAAP standards while contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring timely production of key financial documents.
• Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable and account receivable processes, to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Support cash management activities, including monitoring cash flow and forecasting.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Prepare financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
• Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software; experience with other ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
