About the position

The Deputy Information System Security Manager (D-ISSM) at CACI plays a crucial role in supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) by implementing an enterprise IT service delivery model that ensures secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services. This position involves overseeing cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and enhancing the security posture of the organization while enabling mission success.

Responsibilities

  • Determine enterprise Information Assurance and security standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to information system security.
  • Develop and implement Information Assurance/Security standards and procedures.
  • Coordinate, develop, and evaluate security programs for the organization.
  • Recommend Information Assurance/Security solutions to support customer's requirements.
  • Establish and satisfy Information Assurance and security requirements based on analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
  • Support customers in developing and implementing doctrine and policies.
  • Perform analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.
  • Analyze and define security requirements for computer systems including servers, workstations, and personal computers.
  • Design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions that meet security requirements.
  • Provide integration and implementation of the computer system security solution.
  • Analyze general Information Assurance-related technical problems and provide basic engineering and technical support.
  • Perform vulnerability/risk analysis of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle.
  • Ensure that all information systems are functional and secure.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on information system security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the organization's information systems are tested and certified for security compliance.
  • Monitor and investigate security incidents and breaches and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure the security of the organization's information systems.

Requirements

  • Currently hold and continuously maintain an adjudicated Top Secret Clearance.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor's Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience; Master's Degree in related field may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree and 3 years relevant experience).
  • Experience managing and auditing information systems using NIST 800-53 Rev. 5.
  • Experience with classified environments and the DoD SIPR enclave.
  • Experience managing a small team including ISSOs and ISSEs to enact Cybersecurity policies and SOPs for managed systems.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team setting to support the customer, both on-site and remotely.
  • CISSP or other applicable certification to meet DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level 3 requirements.
