About the position

The Deputy Program Director - Operations at ServiceSource, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the Vice President (VP) and managing the operational service delivery at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. This position is responsible for overseeing daily activities related to Site Maintenance, Vendor Management, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Maintenance and Repair, Custodial Services, and the IDIQ Construction Program. The Deputy Program Director will develop and implement maintenance policies and programs, recommend planning for operations, and identify service positions to meet the needs of individuals with significant disabilities employed through or referred to the Mark Center. In this role, the Deputy Program Director will lead infrastructure operations and systems maintenance of a LEED-rated Department of Defense facility. They will supervise the IDIQ Program Manager, Site Maintenance Manager, MEP Project Manager, and Custodial Project Manager, ensuring compliance with contractual performance metrics and driving operational improvements. Establishing strong relationships with Government clients is essential to manage expectations and meet contract requirements effectively. The Deputy Program Director will also ensure safety standards are enforced on the job site and will document operational efforts in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO). The position requires the Deputy Program Director to perform operational analyses, manage project scheduling, and participate in routine project status meetings. They will also be responsible for identifying best business practices in facilities management and conducting performance analyses to benefit future projects. In the absence of the VP, the Deputy Program Director will assume their responsibilities, ensuring seamless operations and contract awareness. This role is vital for maintaining high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency at the Mark Center.

Responsibilities

  • Directly support the Vice President (VP) and act as the VP as assigned.
  • Manage and coordinate all operational service delivery at the Mark Center.
  • Oversee daily operations of the IDIQ Program Manager, Site Maintenance Manager, MEP Project Manager, and Custodial Project Manager.
  • Review and analyze operational data for compliance with contractual performance metrics.
  • Establish strong working relationships with Government clients to manage expectations and meet contract requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards on the job site.
  • Drive quality into all operational deliverables.
  • Document operational efforts in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO).
  • Perform operational analysis of each job for efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assume responsibilities of the VP in their absence, including daily operations and interactions with facility management.
  • Identify and implement best business practices in facilities management.
  • Conduct performance and project analyses and develop lessons learned for future projects.
  • Recommend and implement company policies and procedures as needed.
  • Manage solicitation proposals and revisions to Task Orders throughout the contract period.
  • Participate in routine project status meetings and manage IDIQ revenue and expense budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience with a BS in engineering or 4-7 years with an MS in engineering required.
  • Five years of prior experience as a Facility/Public Works Manager required.
  • Prior experience with Government contracted operations strongly preferred.
  • Current TS clearance or ability to obtain required.
  • Professional Engineer certification strongly preferred.
  • Ability to pass criminal and drug screening processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with MAXIMO or similar CMMS systems.
  • Knowledge of LEED-rated facility operations.
  • Familiarity with National Incident Management System courses.
