About the position

The Deputy Program Manager will support the CISA Cybersecurity Division (CSD) in overseeing program development, operational support, and administrative functions. This role is crucial for ensuring the security and resilience of the cyber ecosystem, and the DPM will act as the second in command to the Program Manager, managing a team of over 50 personnel and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as second in command for the Program Manager
  • Act as Program Manager in case of an absence
  • Assist in managing a team of 50+ people, overseeing daily tasks and operations to ensure high quality and timely delivery
  • Serve as secondary point of contact for the client
  • Assist in developing status reports and executive briefings
  • Provide guidance on preparation of documentation, correspondence, briefing materials, and other related documentation in support of day-to-day operations
  • Identify resource requirements for the team, develop position descriptions and conduct interviews
  • Develop, update, and review Project Management Review (PMR) PowerPoint presentations, and project plans
  • Track team activities, accomplishments, and deliverables on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis

Requirements

  • At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience managing projects on a full-time basis
  • At least 10 years of experience in managing teams of over 50+ people in cyber security planning, communication, stakeholder management and senior executive support in federal government office
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Masters degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (to include PowerPoint, Visio, Project, OneNote, SharePoint, Power BI)
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have a current DoD Top Secret Clearance
