About the position

The Deputy Program Manager plays a crucial role in assisting the Program Manager with the oversight of the Unaccompanied Children & Family Unit (UC & FAMU) Transportation services and operations. This position ensures that all administrative, technical, contractual requirements, and client expectations are met while adhering to the high-quality standards established by Acuity International. The role requires active support of the company's vision, mission, and values, and involves being available 24/7 to address operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with program control, compliance risk management, financial control, and process improvements.
  • Oversees on-demand transportation services and operations, ensuring availability to ERO by mobile phone 24/7.
  • Monitors and tracks site-specific operation implementation instructions to meet contractual requirements.
  • Disseminates guidance from the Program Manager to all program personnel.
  • Ensures operational plans adhere to safety standards and are communicated and implemented professionally.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or an associate degree with two or more years of relevant experience, or more than four years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least two years of documented experience in business administration, statistics, data analysis, data management, or a similar field.
  • Management experience relevant to the program environment and goals.
  • Clean criminal background check, favorable credit check, and no prior drug use.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Proficiency with computers, common office equipment, and MS Office suite.
  • Must meet contract immunization requirements.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and a US citizen.
