About The Position

The Deputy Program Manager at ManTech is responsible for providing leadership and management for a large, complex enterprise IT service management program for a Department of Defense (DoD) customer. This role involves ensuring mission success, engaging with stakeholders, managing workforce and financial controls, and overseeing quality assurance for deliverables.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall project/program management experience including planning, directing, coordinating, and managing people and deliverables.
• 5+ years of experience leading geographically dispersed IT operations and engineering staff in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years of experience leading high-performing teams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, etc.).
• Active certification in Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP).

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer mission success across numerous concurrent ITSM and modernization tasks.
• Engage with senior government staff and stakeholders.
• Ensure quality and timeliness of all deliverables.
• Manage workforce effectively.
• Apply financial controls and reporting.
• Conduct financial and status reporting to both government and corporate leadership.
• Oversee risk management processes.
