About The Position
The Deputy Sheriff - Field Operations performs responsible protective service work in the Sheriff's Office involving a variety of general or support duty assignments and involving an element of personal danger. Work is performed under the regular supervision of a Deputy Sergeant. Must be available to work any shift of the day on any day of the week, including holidays and weekends. Field Operations Deputies work an assigned 11.5-hour shift (0530-1700; 1500-0230; 1830-0600) rotating on/off duty in a 3 on >2 off >2 on >3 off pattern.
