About the position

The Senior Banker Derivative & FX solutions will lead the pitching and advising of CNB's diverse clientele, including middle market, corporate, real estate, international, and financial sponsors, on interest rate and FX derivatives. This role focuses on providing hedging strategies through various derivative instruments and executing specific derivative and investment trade activities.

Responsibilities

• Originate, structure, and execute hedging solutions and strategies tailored to client needs.
• Advise clients on macro market exposures related to interest rates, foreign exchange, and credit derivatives.
• Prepare and analyze derivative pricing models and client-facing materials to facilitate transactions.
• Analyze financial models and company financial statements to recommend strategies.
• Familiarize with ISDA documentation, CSAs, and regulatory guidelines.
• Generate creative ideas while staying aware of market trends and structural solutions.
• Assist in developing a robust FX platform for efficient client transactions.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop new products and vertical strategies.
• Drive the preparation of proposals, pitchbooks, and presentations for corporate derivative solutions.
• Attend and lead industry events related to derivatives and FX.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging opportunities that may impact the bank's strategy.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in derivatives and FX products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in capital markets with a focus on Global Markets (FX, Interest Rate, Fixed Income).
• Experience in marketing Interest Rate Derivatives, FX, and Fixed Income Derivatives to corporate clients is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, macroeconomics, and derivative valuation.
• Knowledge of interest rate curve construction and various pricing methodologies.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and financial partners.
