Boeing Global Services is currently seeking a Design and Analysis Electrical Engineer to become part of the Direct Attack Support Equipment Team in Saint Charles, Missouri. The Direct Attack Support Equipment team is responsible for the development and maintenance of a wide range of production and field level Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for numerous weapons programs. Our equipment and software are used to support all phases of weapon development: demonstration, production, and field support. This individual will work in a team environment to develop test capability for a wide variety of weapon systems. The successful candidate will work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements, as well as analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications as well as developing software in a variety of languages. Conduct test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements, as well as monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. You will solve problems concerning other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle, while researching specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 5+ years of experience working in a professional environment

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience
  • Experience with TCP/IP & Ethernet, IEEE-488, MMSI, and MIL-STD-1553
  • Experience with C++/C#, Java, and scripting languages
  • Experience leading or managing cross-functional projects including cost account management
