Responsibilities

• Design restaurant, retail, and office spaces that are functional and cost-effective.
• Lead architect for a 15-acre waterfront development project.
• Involved in all aspects of the design process from start to finish.
• Provide preliminary concepts, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Create existing conditions drawings through field verification.
• Review and approve plans from internal and external sources.
• Coordinate with construction and architectural teams.
• Prepare site plan drawings and collaborate with civil engineering firms.
• Analyze design requirements and recommend solutions.
• Research and interpret municipality zoning and code information.
• Provide necessary drawings for initial cost estimating.
• Offer value engineering options while maintaining design intent.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture; Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum seven years of experience as a licensed architect.
• Experience in designing restaurant, retail, and/or office spaces.
• Proven experience with commercial projects.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
