The selected candidate will play a crucial role in preparing architectural presentations, construction drawings, and documents for a diverse range of projects, catering to both public and private sector clients. As an Architectural Designer, you will collaborate closely with the Project Architect to develop conceptual designs, schematic drawings, and detailed construction documents using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Your responsibilities will include generating revisions and corrections based on redlined drawings, reviewing design documents, and assisting in the coordination of engineering consultants. You will also liaise with manufacturers, vendors, and regulatory agencies to ensure that all project objectives are met efficiently and effectively. This position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $75,000, along with generous benefits including three weeks of vacation and a 401k retirement plan with employer matching. Responsibilities

  • Work with Project Architect in preparing conceptual, design development, schematic, and construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Perform architectural drawing and generate drawing revisions and corrections from redlined drawings
  • Review design documents and construction estimates
  • Assist in coordinating with engineering consultants and coordinating documents with Civil, MEP, and Structural drawings
  • Work with manufacturers, vendors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Degree in Architecture preferred
  • Experienced in using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Knowledge of the design process, building codes, building materials, and construction techniques
  • Ability to problem solve individually and as part of a team
  • Provide portfolio or samples of work in AutoCAD and Revit formats
