About the position

The Design Architect at C2AE is responsible for creating innovative architectural designs that meet client needs while adhering to budget constraints. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to develop concepts and finalize designs, ensuring that all aspects of the project are integrated effectively. The position requires a strong understanding of building systems and construction processes, as well as the ability to communicate complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze programmatic requirements and budget constraints to produce designs.
• Develop initial concept options to respond to the client's needs.
• Create drawings to visually convey the solution in Schematic form to Owner and Construction entity.
• Identify and document the Client's Detailed Program Needs.
• Collaborate with Interior Designer and others in the development of the Final Design.
• Coordinate the architectural design with site, structural, interiors, mechanical, and electrical design.
• Review and approve submittals for conformance to design.
• Develop Preliminary Design Concepts and 3D Images for Proposals & Interviews.

Requirements

• Master of Architecture, required
• Licensed Architect, required
• 5-10+ years of experience in education, preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of building design and systems, and general construction processes.
