About the position

Chambers, one of the nation's leading Planning, Architecture, and Interior Design firms, is seeking a Design Architect with 3-8 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Architecture and either hold a license or have a strong interest in attaining an Architectural License in the future. This role requires proven design experience and a strong portfolio that exemplifies creative designs for architectural projects. The Design Architect will manage the design process from pre-design/programming through construction administration, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with a project team and project manager from conception to completion, ensuring that aggressive deadlines and high client expectations are met. The successful candidate will have significant experience working with expanded project teams, including engineering consultants, general contractors, and vendors. Fluency in AutoCAD or Revit is essential, and familiarity with additional software is a plus. A current and working knowledge of building codes, AIA documents, and procedures is required, along with contract administration capabilities. Experience in hospitality design is preferred, as the role involves engaging with high-end private club clientele and other key stakeholders. Specific responsibilities include supervising and mentoring the architectural design staff, leading the architectural design for conceptual master plans and building design through detail development, construction drawings, and documentation.
