About The Position

The Design Center Coordinator provides operational support for the Designer and Design Center Manager to deliver an exceptional design center experience to both buyers and builder customers. This role involves preparing and maintaining home buyer folders, facilitating appointments, and ensuring effective communication between designers, buyers, and builders.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/ GED Equivalent
  • 1-3 years of administrative/reception/customer service experience
  • Some design knowledge preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills, and enthusiastic attitude

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and maintains the home buyer folder for each appointment
  • Maintains status reports for the builder and WBS
  • Facilitates the browse for home buyers
  • Schedules home buyers to ensure cycle time adherence
  • Maintains organization of the showroom
  • Assists in resolving issues with the home buyer
  • Develops an understanding of the selection process
  • Accommodates special requests for designers in preparation for an appointment
  • Ensures proper communication exists between designer, buyer, and builder regarding emails or calls
  • May be asked to facilitate a design appointment or special projects
  • Ensures deposit checks are turned into builder/management
  • Invoices for design center services for design center agreement
  • Maintains notes in VEO calendar regarding scheduling
  • Registers buyers in VEO when contracts are received
  • Assists buyers with VEO logins
  • Organizes and distributes the design studio's mail and correspondence
  • Facilitates ordering of coffee bar items/water and supplies for design center
  • Maintains Browse documents
  • Coordinates cleaning requests with office manager/cleaning company
  • Completes spec home requests
  • Coordinates couriers for designers and builders
  • Coordinates/schedules conference room for customers/vendors
  • Pulls selections for spec to sold homeowners
  • Assists in facility maintenance and presentation
