As a Design Consultant at Ballard Designs, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience through personalized design services. Your responsibilities will include providing design expertise during appointments, promoting outreach within the community, and collaborating with other consultants to expand market reach. This position emphasizes guest engagement and aims to create inspiring shopping experiences for customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide design expertise for scheduled appointments, including studio and home visits, as well as virtual appointments.
• Identify and network with local organizations and businesses to promote Design Solutions services and distribute marketing materials.
• Support the retail store team with various responsibilities, including order entry, visual merchandising, and product training activities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in interior design, consultation, and event planning.
• Strong space planning skills.
• Basic drafting skills with the ability to read and interpret architectural plans and floor plans.
• Valid driver's license for conducting home visits.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
