About the position
The Design Consultant position at Hunter Douglas involves driving personal sales efforts in a designated territory, focusing on closing deals and managing customer relationships. Responsibilities
- Drive personal vehicle to manage and attend 2-5 pre-scheduled sales appointments daily in designated territory.
- Generate substantial sales revenue by closing deals on appointments and following up with customers who have received quotes.
- Meet monthly sales goals set by sales management.
- Stay up-to-date with post-sale tasks in the CRM system while maintaining communication with customers and collaborating with co-workers.
- Work closely with the inside sales team to help close deals with previously quoted customers.
- Expand territory by fostering referrals and building relationships with builders, contractors, and other industry players.
Requirements
- Track record of high achievements in sales.
- Strong relationship-building skills and tenacity in working leads.
- Compelling and engaging presentation skills.
- Growth mindset and ability to view setbacks as learning opportunities.
- Professional communication and presentation skills.
- 1-3 years of in-home sales experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Reliable transportation.

- Availability to work 5 days a week, including one weekend day.
