About the position
Bassett Furniture is seeking passionate and motivated Design Consultants who have a love for interior design and a keen eye for color and fashion. In this role, you will be responsible for building meaningful and long-term relationships with customers, helping them visualize and create their dream rooms. Our Design Consultants possess comprehensive knowledge of furniture construction and current design trends, utilizing relationship selling techniques through personalized interior design consultations and makeovers to maximize sales opportunities. You will take joy in the design process, guiding customers through their choices and ensuring their satisfaction with the final results. As a Design Consultant, you will engage with customers to understand their needs, tastes, lifestyles, and investment ranges. You will conduct virtual appointments and live chats, as well as drive to customers' residences and businesses for makeovers. Your role will involve creating, presenting, and selling product and design solutions tailored to each client's unique preferences. You will also participate in our in-depth training program, which includes product knowledge, sales techniques, design skills, and strategies for building a loyal client base. This training will be delivered through comprehensive online classes, videos, hands-on activities, and one-on-one coaching, ensuring you have the tools necessary to succeed in this dynamic retail environment.
