About the position

The Design Engineer for Equipment Automation will lead the development and deployment of advanced high-speed printing systems integrated with reverse osmosis-membrane manufacturing processes. This role requires innovative design solutions, effective project management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of equipment within the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, qualification, and deployment of high-speed printing systems.
  • Conceptualize innovative design solutions for water filtration applications.
  • Optimize automation processes within equipment design.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for proposed designs focusing on automation.
  • Build and test prototypes to validate design functionality and efficiency.
  • Select appropriate materials and components for equipment design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical and electrical engineers.
  • Prepare detailed documentation including design specifications and technical reports.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in equipment design, particularly in production equipment and automation.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
