About the position

The Design Engineer is responsible for creating product concepts for both existing and new products, ensuring alignment with project needs through proactive feedback gathering. This role requires a critical thinker and excellent communicator who can iterate quickly on designs to meet project goals.

Responsibilities

• Design product concepts, including special options for current product lines and new product line projects.
• Proactively gather feedback from stakeholders, internally and externally to ensure work is aligned with needs.
• Iterate swiftly on concepts until products are released.
• Possess creative, problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in design engineering, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAD software, preferably Autodesk/Inventor.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to design for manufacturability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
