About the position
The Design Engineer position involves creating and developing design control systems in compliance with various industry standards. The role requires proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks Electrical, and experience in design engineering to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Design control systems utilizing NFPA, UL508A, SEMI S2/S8/S22, and CE specifications to comply with country-specific standards.
- Utilize DFMEA to guide design processes and identify potential failure modes in product designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and implementation.
Requirements
- B.S. or higher in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2-4 years of Design Engineering experience if no degree.
- Proficient in 2D / 3D CAD software, specifically SolidWorks Electrical.
- Experience with design control systems and compliance with industry standards.
Nice-to-haves
- Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
- End-to-end product development experience.
- Knowledge of metal component fabrication.
