About the position

The Design Hardware Engineer PCB role focuses on developing Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) processes for both existing and new equipment and parts. The engineer will be responsible for testing equipment, performing data analysis to predict failures, and using performance evaluation tests to identify potential safety and production risks. The position emphasizes continuous improvement and compliance with life cycle management processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop FMEA processes for existing and new equipment/parts
• Test any equipment as required
• Perform data analysis to predict failures and prevent downtime
• Use performance evaluation tests to identify safety and production risks
• Identify recurring failures and conduct root cause analysis
• Recommend corrective actions based on analysis
• Comply with the life cycle management process
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct system tests and failure analysis

Requirements

• Experience in developing FMEA processes
• Ability to test various types of equipment
• Strong data analysis skills to predict failures
• Experience with performance evaluation tests
• Knowledge of safety and production risk assessment
