About the position

BSA LifeStructures is seeking a licensed Architect to join their Indianapolis studio as a Design Principal. This role is crucial for advancing the firm's design strategy and ensuring recognition as an industry leader. The Design Principal will oversee the development of strong conceptual designs, foster innovation through design technology, and collaborate with team members to shape project visions. Additionally, the position involves mentoring future design leaders and contributing to revenue generation by responding to market trends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure pursuit and project teams develop strong conceptual designs in a collaborative environment.
• Oversee the use of design technology to encourage innovation and inspire solutions.
• Collaborate with Principals to build teams with appropriate levels of design leadership.
• Shape the 'Big Idea' and set a clear project vision for all team members.
• Assist Principals with revenue generation and develop design responses to market trends.
• Mentor the next generation of design leaders.

Requirements

• Accredited Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
• Professional Licensure in Architecture, with an NCARB certificate preferred.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience with a strong focus in design.
