About the position

The Architectural Design Professional at 19six Architects will support projects within the K-12 Education design studio in San Luis Obispo. This role involves creating, coordinating, and maintaining project designs and documentation throughout all phases of architectural projects, ensuring quality control and compliance with project scope and budget.

Responsibilities

• Create, coordinate, revise, and maintain project design, production, and documentation at all project phases (Pre-Design through Construction Administration and Certification).
• Produce and comprehend architectural redlines and efficiently produce documents and revisions.
• Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with project scope and budget.
• Coordinate design with consultants and architectural team.
• Work collaboratively and clearly with architectural team, consultants, and clients.
• Handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Architecture required.
• Two or more (2+) years' experience working on Education, preferably K-12 related projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Acrobat and MS Office software is required.
• Experience with DSA submission/approval process is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented, highly motivated, positive attitude, and proactive problem solver.
